Where We Are Made~

Today our jeans are constructed in Mexico with raw materials from the United States. When the company was founded, we made jeans in Texas. During the early days, we were a grass roots company and we put them on cowboys as fast as we could and participated in their events. Western stores around the country began carrying our jeans. Soon with the success of our camo product we found ourselves dealing more and more with larger outdoor retail chains. The price point for them was lower and we were forced to begin building jeans in Mexico because of the lower labor costs. We could then meet the demands placed on us by the stores of course which was an ultimate translation from the buying public.

You know we had a lot of people yell at us and complain, but more people were content with the move we had made, so we have continued with our path. And before anyone says anything about it being all about “greed”, remember we are in business to make a profit, we are not a charity organization, and the reality is that we are a small company in the $12 billion blue jean industry. And while we may have at one time gotten a little attention from the big boys (read Wrangler) we aren’t on their radar screen now, as we are no longer the new kid on the block – although they did introduce a gusseted jeans couple of years ago! We are still a family business in a small town in rural Texas, with some great hometown folks. But you know what? - we still like to go and when we do we do it Diamond Cut!!!
